I'm a mystery

On 28th July, Saturday, I went to Lido to watch Simpsons. It certainly got me bursting out in hysterical laughter. Furthermore the good company which consists of Nic, Brina and Adele, made the movie, if possible, more fabulous. After which, we met up with Des and ate in Breeks.

Though the time spent was so precious, our happiness was short-lived. Our faces no longer held innocence. Smiles brighten our faces. Yet, deep down, we knew that this will hardly happen in the near future. Nic is going to study over broad and is taking the morning flight on Saturday. A pity that I have my prelims and I cannot send her off. I promised her that I would accompany her on Friday. My tears are spent.

How is it the same anymore if she lives in the other half of the world? We wouldn't even share the same sky. I can never reach to her by a mere hour car ride. When I sleep, she brushes her teeth. When I sing the national anthem, she tucks herself in bed. Maybe one day, I will get used to this. But I know for sure that I don't want her to leave.

Please let me be selfish. Just this once...
