We were shy,
Cradling the hope that we would not be alone.

We were happy,
The Friendship was held so precious to us.

We were furious,
All the obstacles and baddies were interrupting.

We were exhilarated,
Our friendship had reached the pinnacle of trust.

We were fearful,
Beginning to tighten our grasp onto each other.

We were resigned,
None of us willing to speak of the emptiness inside.

We grow old,
The memories rusty and unopened for years.

Even if someone replaced you,
Or if I forget your face.

My dear friend,
I would never forget you once entered my world.
